Persuasive Writing

  This week we learned about persuasive writing, the purpose of this text is convincing the reader of the argument that you are exposing. There are a few elements that your composition must have in order to make it successful: a hook that will catch your readers' attention, background information, thesis statement, evidence supporting your ideas and a good summary with future implications. Movie Review

  On this week's class, we learned about how to make a movie review. There's definitely some elements that should be taken under consideration at the moment of telling the world your experience about watching any movie. At the moment of writing your review, you must remember that giving spoilers is a big no, unless you warn the reader about it beforehand. You have to also keep in mind, that you need to let the reader know whether you like the movie or not, otherwise the message that you try to convey through your review might get confusing. Your review should be entertaining and easy to understand, since there might be people that might not be a literate as others and get lost between the ideas or thoughts that you try to share.
